Disciple-making pastors are slowly but surely gaining recognition as leaders in a new paradigm in pastoring and church growth. It is worthwhile to note that with this status comes the burden to continue to strengthen our profession by providing support and guidance to all pastors, especially those new in the field.

The goal of the Pilot Pastor Mentorship Group (PPMG) is to help pastors strive for and achieve excellence in their ministry and profession through mentorship and coaching. PPMG functions to answer professional questions commonly asked by pastors who are new to disciple-making.  It also provides information services to those wishing to learn from the richness of someone else’s expertise and knowledge.

PPMG embraces the concept that no pastor should stand alone... everyone needs a mentor.  Sometimes the only difference between success and failure in ministry is having a good mentor.  While we realize that it would be ideal to have a one to one expert and novice relationship, distance, time and prior commitments limit the number of available experts to function as mentors.  In addition, PPMG provides a network of discipling pastors supporting, collaborating, strengthening, and praying for each other! 

PPMG is for everyone - pastoral interns, new graduates, and experienced pastors who wish to benefit from a discipleship mentorship program online.  PPMG will connect you with mentors via teleconference calls, email, online, and in-person live scheduled training and mentoring/coaching programs.
